Description
Since the dawn of my memories I have been attracted to things considered obscure, strange and macabre. My journey into the macabre began through my nightmares and dreams. To its dark shadows that dance around me while my eyes are closed. During insomnia I spent countless hours remembering and studying their subtleties. Painting and creating allows me to express my dreams, my memories that I seek to transcribe. In a ceaseless quest for understanding and expression. Currently I am continuing this process. I paint in my studio. It's like a sanctuary of the bizarre, with walls decorated with my creations and a few cobwebs. I used various mediums, acrylics, charcoals, ashes, etc... I like to paint at night and in the dark, with weak light. It is also a sort of sanctuary of darkness for me, where I find comfort in the company of my dogs and a strange congregation of rats. My dogs, made up of unconditional loves, are always nearby while I paint or other create. They bring me a unique feeling of calm. As for rats... I have always had an affinity for them, finding their resilience and ingenuity admirable. They wander more or less freely in certain corners. They have become my muses, sometimes moving around as I paint, their silent approval or disapproval of my work serving as critique.
